Mechanical Pikachu 3D Print
For this project, we gave a familiar character-inspired design a futuristic mechanical twist. Using the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro, we printed a unique figure that combines a bright yellow character design with detailed robotic components.
The model is divided into two contrasting styles. One side features a smooth yellow appearance, while the other reveals mechanical panels, joints, gears, and metallic details. This combination gives the figure a distinctive cyberpunk-inspired look.

We used the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro to bring this design from a digital model into a physical figure. Its four independent toolheads make it well-suited for projects that involve multiple materials or colors, while the 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume provides enough space for detailed character models.
The printer also supports a wide range of filaments, giving us more flexibility when working on both the colorful character sections and the mechanical-looking parts.
A Creative 3D Printing Project
What makes this project interesting is the contrast between the two designs. The smooth yellow surface keeps the character recognizable, while the mechanical side adds a completely different personality.
This is also a good example of how 3D printing can turn a simple character concept into a customized display piece. By experimenting with colors, materials, textures, and mechanical details, makers can create something that feels much more personal.
From Digital Model to Finished Figure
After printing, the individual parts were assembled to create the final figure. The combination of colorful filament and metallic-looking components helps bring out the details of the mechanical design.
