Review | Yi Lite Action Camera - Is it worthy to buy?
YI, an action camera brand that well known by high-quality action camera at very competitive price. YI Lite action camera is their newest release product which sits between the original Yi action camera and the Yi 4K, with a mix of features from both.
The Yi Lite adopts the LCD touch screen to operate the camera, built-in with a 16-megapixel backlit Sony Exmor Image Sensor paired with a 150-degree wide-angle lens with a bright f/2.8 aperture that can shoots 1080p at a full 60fps framerate, and 4K is available too, but it’s at just a 15fps compared to the Yi 4K’s more standard 30fps for smoother motion (Not a very enthusing framerate for shooting 4k UHD action video but still tolerable for some basic recording action in Ultra HD). Besides, Yi Lite action camera also features image stabilization to aid in the smoother footage, particularly in 1080p at 60fps and in 2K at 30fps.

So, Yi Lite is a light, compact, and portable action camera. Meanwhile, the body of the Yi Lite exactly the same size as the Yi 4K and 4K+ which is great for using any accessories you may already have.
Interface and Button
The micro USB port on the left of the action camera, and the micro SD card slot on the bottom of YI Lite which supports max 128GB memory. Both them are covered with rubber protection, more safe and durable. In addition, there is also a standard screw joint that you can connect with stabilizer or tripod.
The YI Lite action camera only comes with one button which on the top of the body, and it’s used as both switch and shutter.
Screen
The Yi Lite has a 2-inch touch screen which is more than enough to see what's going on and control the camera easily (basically, almost all operation is done by it). The screen is also made of Gorilla glass which we all know is one of the best scratch resistant options out there.
Moreover, YI Lite offers many languages on the operation interface for choosing.
Connectivity
1. Yi Lite comes with a standard USB connector for downloading.
2. Built-in 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4GHz/5GHz Dual-Band Wi-Fi, so you can also connect it with your phone directly by wireless WiFi (the download speed up to 300Mbps).
3. There is also a Bluetooth 4.1 connection which is great for connecting with the Yi Action App or even the YI Remote or the Selfie Stick (with built-in remote).

YI Lite comes with a 1400mAh Li-ion battery
After first discharge, recharge the YI Lite only takes 2 hours by connecting to the computer.
In addition, there is a charge indicator light. (Red light -low power, purple light -50% above power, blue light -full charged)

The Yi Lite is really for the casual user who wants good quality images (support 16MP high pixel) but does not care so much about the 4K video (support 4K shooting but only at 15fps).

Anti-shake
It comes with built-in stability (EIS it's called) which is great for helping remove that annoying shake we all have when filming handheld (which you will most like do with the Yi Lite).
