The Nitecore MT42 is equipped with 2x18650 batteries, which have higher energy intensity, better power storage and longer runtime compared to other batteies. with the powerful batteries, the MT42 Flashlight can continuously use for up to 530 hours in ultralow and up to an hour on Turbo. And there is a build-in power indicator under the mode button, which is used for showing the remaining charge so you can always know how much power is left.
User Interface
Nitecore MT42's user interface is very simple, which may appeal to anyone who needs a flashlight for high stress situations. The flashlight is equipped with a forward clicky in the tail and a side switch near the head for changing modes, which is simple to operate. To activate the constant-on functionality of the search light, simply press the tail switch until you hear a clicking sound. If you would like to instantly enter Turbo mode, simply press and hold the side switch. Finally, the Nitecore MT42 offers instant access to the specialty modes by quickly tapping the side switch twice.
